Had a lovely stay at Jqc Rooms in Madrid. The location shines—just a 5-minute walk to Sol, making it easy to explore the city. My single room was a decent size with clean sheets and a comfortable bed. I appreciated the air conditioning, especially during the warm days, which helped keep the room pleasant. The staff were attentive and quick to assist with any requests.
The mattress quality was somewhat lacking with a sag in the middle.

The room felt cramped, lacking privacy with no bathroom door, which made the experience uncomfortable. Noise was an issue, especially from nearby nightlife, disrupting sleep, and the bedding was of low-quality material that felt uninviting. Shared bathroom facilities were clean, but the overall tight space made it feel less than ideal.

Had a pretty good stay! Super clean with great AC, and the location is spot on, just minutes from Puerta del Sol. Only downside was the noise from the street, which made sleeping tricky at times.

Nothing it is perfect.

My single room was a decent size with clean sheets and a comfortable bed. I appreciated the air conditioning, especially during the warm days. It helped keep the room pleasant. The staff were attentive and quick to assist with any requests. However, the mattress quality was somewhat lacking, as it had a sag in the middle that was uncomfortable. I had to ask for a change, but they sorted it out quickly. Shared bathroom facilities were generally clean, but I did encounter some leftover hair on the sheets, which was off-putting. Having a coffee-making option in the common area would add a nice touch. Despite a few inconveniences, the value for a private room in such a central location can't be beaten.
